Lilies On The River:
Date: Saturday before Mother's Day (May 8th)
Time: 11am Luncheon, 2pm (Ceremony)
Location: Berkeley Hall Clubhouse
Lilies on the River benefiting Hope Haven, the region's childrens
advocacy and rape crisis center, is on Saturday, May 8th at the
Berkeley Hall Clubhouse. Lilies on the River was created to honor
the special women in our lives. Lilies are purchased in the name of
someone who has made an impact on you in some way. On May 8th a
lilies release ceremony is held following the luncheon and is an
incredibly touching event. Bring your mothers or a woman who has
touched your life and enjoy an afternoon of good food, wine,
shopping and a special champagne toast before the release ceremony.
Tickets to the luncheon are $60 and can be purchased by calling
524-2256. Call soon and reserve your space as there are only 100
seats available and they are selling out fast! Lilies can be
purchased for $10 each and there is no limit as to how many you can
buy. Lilies can be purchased on the Hope Haven website at
www.hopehavenlc.org. Those people who had lilies purchased in
their honor will have their names in the Sunday, May 9th issue of
the Beaufort Gazette. Support this great organization and honor the
